 The Sandburg Suite – Named for Carl Sandburg, the Illinois winner of three Pulitzer Prizes in writing and poetry about Abraham Lincoln, the Sandburg suite features a king-size bed with fireplace, sitting area and spa-like bath with claw foot tub and rain shower.

The Nachusa Queen Guest Room – Named for the Indian title given to John Dixon, the founder of Dixon, Illinois, meaning head of white hair. The name also represents the 4,000-acre Nachusa Grasslands preserve located just 3 miles away from the Inn. The suite features a prairie theme with gorgeous woven seagrass queen bed and a hand-tiled marble bathroom and shower with river rock floor.

The Lorado Taft Queen Guest Room –Named for the famed Illinois sculptor and writer, Lorado Taft, the creator of the Eternal Indian statue monument overlooking the Rock River in Oregon, Illinois, just a few miles away. This elegantly appointed room features an incredible queen-size hand carved hickory bed as well as a hand-tiled marble bathroom and shower.
